S.R. Metal Works

We are over at Plot No. 232 in the Hsiidc area on Hissar Road in Rohtak. Being in an industrial zone means it’s always loud and there’s always movement. We do metal work, so there is a lot of cutting, bending, and welding going on. It’s not a clean job. There are metal scraps and the smell of grease everywhere. Our team is used to the heat, especially during the Rohtak summers when the shed gets really hot. We have some heavy machinery that’s been running for years. We don't have a big corporate structure. Usually, you can find the owner right there on the shop floor with the workers. If a machine breaks, we fix it ourselves. We take orders from various clients and just try to get the pieces out on time. Sometimes we run behind because a delivery was late, but that’s just how the metal business works. We don’t bother with fancy brochures. Most people find us because they need something specific made and they heard we could do it. It’s a straightforward shop. We work hard, we get dirty, and we go home. The Hsiidc estate is busy, and we are just one of the many units making things. We’ve been here a while and know most of the neighbors. It’s a tough job but it’s what we know how to do. We just keep the hammers moving.
