Malhotra Architect

Malhotra Architect is located at Shop No. 1 in the Red Cross Bhawan. Being in a shop on the ground floor means we see a lot of people passing by all day long. It is a convenient spot, but it can get a bit loud with the street noise and people talking outside the door. Inside, the space is packed with flat files and cabinets full of records from years back. We have a couple of computers that stay on all day and a large table in the middle for spreading out the big sheets of paper. The walls are painted a plain white but you can barely see them behind all the calendars and notes we have taped up. It’s a straightforward kind of office where we deal with a lot of paperwork and technical drawings. We don't have fancy lights or designer chairs, just the stuff that has been here since we started. There is usually a smell of old paper and ink in the air. When the sun hits the front window in the afternoon, it gets pretty bright, so we usually have to pull the blinds halfway down. Most of our day is spent talking to people who walk in with questions or sitting quietly working on a floor plan. It is a small team and we just handle the day-to-day tasks as they come. No big mystery to it.
