Lachi Ram Ram Mehar

Lachi Ram Ram Mehar is our name and we are based in the Purani Anaj Mandi. The old grain market is a crowded place but it has a lot of history. We’ve been here for a long time, tucked away among the other shops. It’s a tight squeeze with all the bags of grain piled up in the lanes. We spend our days talking to farmers and buyers who come through the mandi. The air is always full of the smell of earth and dried crops. It’s a simple life at Lachi Ram Mehar. We don't have computers everywhere or a big staff. It's mostly just us handling the books and making sure the weights are right. Purani Anaj Mandi is where we feel at home. Sometimes the noise of the carts and the shouting can be a lot, but you get used to it. We deal with whatever grain is in season. There isn't a lot of mystery to what we do. We just buy and sell and try to make a living. The shop isn't much to look at, just a place to do business. We’ve seen the market change as the years pass by. Some of the old faces are gone and new ones come in. But Lachi Ram Ram Mehar stays right here. If you need us, just come to the old market. We’ll be there. It’s just how things work in this part of town. We’ve been around for a long time.
