Kaushik Computer Work

Kaushik Computer Work is located at 312 Sanjay Colony. It is not a very big place, just enough room for a couple of desks and some shelves for storage. We mostly handle things that people in the neighborhood bring to us, like desktop towers that have stopped turning on or laptops with cracked screens. The shop stays open pretty late most nights because that is when people get off work and finally have time to drop off their stuff. We have a lot of spare parts lying around in boxes under the tables. It might look a bit disorganized to someone walking in for the first time, but we know where everything is. Sanjay Colony is a busy area and there is always something going on outside the window. We started doing this because we like taking things apart and seeing why they don't work anymore. There is no receptionist here, so you usually just talk to whoever is holding the screwdriver at the moment. We drink a lot of tea while we work. The walls are painted a light color but they have some marks from moving furniture around over the years. We keep a logbook on the main counter to track what needs to be finished. It is a simple setup but it works for us and the people who live nearby. Most days are just about getting through the pile of repairs on the bench and seeing what comes in tomorrow.
