J S Institute Of Commerce

We are located up on the first floor of Geeta Complex in Jhang Colony. If you know Rohtak, we are right near Ashoka Chowk, so it’s a busy spot. It started out small because we realized commerce students needed a place where they could actually understand accounting without just memorizing things. The building is 453/13, and it's mostly full of students coming in and out between their regular school hours. We have a few rooms here where we sit and go through balance sheets and tax laws. It’s not a fancy setup with glass walls or anything, just benches and whiteboards. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit loud, but we’re used to it by now. Most of the kids come from nearby areas around Rohtak. We spend a lot of time checking homework and making sure everyone is keeping up with the syllabus. It’s hard work for the students because commerce has a lot of details you can't miss. We don’t really do big advertisements. Usually, one student tells another and that’s how our classes fill up. We’ve been here at J S Institute for a long time now. We just try to keep things simple and focus on the books. It feels more like a community than a school sometimes, especially when the exams are close and everyone is staying late to finish their practice papers.
