Pro Agro Seed Co. Pvt. Ltd. is situated in Ward No. 16 over in Saini Colony. We are on Khori Road, which stays pretty busy since the Shahpura Police Station is just nearby. You can hear the sirens sometimes or see the officers heading out. Our building is a simple one, nothing too modern, but it keeps the seeds dry and safe. We deal with farmers and local sellers mostly. They come in with their boots a bit dusty from the fields. The smell inside is a mix of earth and dried grain, which is something you get used to quickly. We have some ledgers on the desk that we fill out by hand most of the time. It feels more reliable than the computer which sometimes acts up when it gets too hot in the summer. Saini Colony is a quiet enough residential area except for the traffic on Khori Road. We’ve been here long enough that we know which neighbors have the barking dogs. We spend our mornings sorting through bags and checking the quality of what comes in. It is a lot of physical work, lifting and moving things around the warehouse floor. We have a small fan that we keep running near the door. It’s just us doing our thing day after day. It isn't a flashy business, just a necessary one for the folks around here who grow things and need honest supplies for their land.
