New Green Hut Hotel

Our hotel is out on Bithwana Bawal Road in Rewari, right by the New Subzi Mandi. Being so close to the vegetable market means our day starts very early. We see a lot of truck drivers and traders who are looking for a place to sit down after a long night of work. The area is quite dusty because of all the trucks, so we are always cleaning the furniture. We have heavy wooden tables and the chairs are simple and sturdy. We don't have a lot of stuff on the walls, just a basic menu and a clock. The air smells like fresh vegetables in the morning and diesel in the afternoon. It is a very practical place. We make local dishes that people around here are used to eating at home. We don't have a large staff, just a few of us who handle the cooking and the serving. Sometimes we run out of certain vegetables if the market was short on something that morning. The water is kept cold in big jugs and the tea is always made fresh. We don't have any fancy music playing. You mostly just hear the sound of the trucks and people talking about prices at the Mandi. It’s not a luxury spot by any means. It’s just a place for a meal and a short rest for anyone passing through this part of Rewari. We just keep our heads down and do our work every day.
