Mittal Building Material Supplier

This is our supply shop over on Borawar Road, right near where the old J.K. Cement godown used to be. It's a bit of a tricky spot to find if you aren't from around Ward No. 23 because some of the roads don't even have proper names yet. We’ve been here for a while, selling different things people need to build their homes or fix up their shops. It’s a lot of sand, cement, and whatever else comes in on the trucks. We don’t have a fancy showroom with lights and air conditioning. It’s mostly just us in the warehouse moving bags around and talking to the drivers. Sometimes it gets real crowded when three trucks show up at once on that unnamed road. We just do our best to get everyone sorted. My family helps out with the books and the loading. We see the same faces pretty often, which is nice. You get to know what people are working on. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything. We just open up early and stay until the work is finished for the day. If someone needs something and we have it, we sell it. If we don't, we tell them where else to look. It’s a straightforward way to make a living. It’s noisy and dusty with all the traffic, but we like being right here in the mix of things. We've been part of this neighborhood for years now and know the roads well.
