Kidzee

Being here in Rewari, we see a lot of the same faces every day. This little spot of ours is where the younger kids spend their mornings. It’s not very big, but it works for what we need. We spend most of our time organizing toys and making sure the kids aren't drawing on the walls, though that happens anyway. The mornings are the busiest time because everyone is trying to get to work. We have a few rooms set aside for different age groups. It gets a bit noisy during playtime, but that is how it goes. We don't do anything fancy here. It's just a place for children to be while their parents are busy. We have some colorful posters on the walls and plenty of chairs. The floor is usually covered in blocks by noon. Our staff lives nearby, so we all know the area well. It’s a simple setup. We try to keep a routine so the kids know what to expect. Lunchtime is always a bit of a mess with all the lunchboxes. We just do our best to keep things tidy and follow the schedule we have. People in Rewari know where we are. It’s a familiar part of the day for many families. We just keep showing up and doing the work, day after day. It is a quiet life, but the kids keep us very busy.
