Nat Khat Play School

Nat Khat Play School is located right on the road from Rewari to Jhajjer, specifically in the Bikaner area. It is a small place for the little ones who aren't quite ready for the big schools yet. The name fits because the kids are definitely "nat khat" or mischievous most of the time. We have painted some bright colors on the walls to make it look cheerful for them. There are toys scattered around the main room because keeping it perfectly tidy is impossible when you have toddlers running around. The traffic on the road outside can be a bit loud, but once you are inside, you don't notice it as much. We have a small gate that we keep locked during the day for safety. The children spend their time drawing or learning their ABCs. It is a lot of singing and occasionally some crying when someone wants their mother. We have a few helpers who keep an eye on things and make sure everyone gets their snacks. It is not a very formal environment. We want it to feel more like a home than an office. The parents in Bikaner appreciate having a place close by where they can drop the kids off. It is a busy little spot. We just try to keep the kids happy and busy until their parents come back in the afternoon.
