Keshri Concrete Hume Pipe Indrustries

Our place is over at Shilpi Plaza in the B Block, right near Pilikothi. Making concrete pipes is heavy work, and that is what we do every day at Keshri Concrete Hume Pipe Indrustries. You’ll usually find us covered in gray dust or managing the big trucks that come in and out. It’s a bit of a maze back in the yard where the pipes are stacked. They are huge things, meant for the ground where nobody sees them again. We spend our mornings checking the molds and making sure the mix is right. It’s not a quiet job. There is always the sound of machines or someone shouting over the noise. We’ve had this spot for a while now. The office in Shilpi Plaza is where we handle the paperwork, though we’d usually rather be outside. Sometimes the rain slows us down because the concrete takes longer to set. We just wait it out and start again the next day. Dealing with drainage and water pipes isn't something people think about until they need one. We don't do much advertising. People know where we are if they need something sturdy for a road or a field. It’s a lot of physical labor and long hours, especially when there’s a big order to get out. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It is a tough business but we are used to it and we just keep going.
