Our place, Hari Om Stone Crusher and Mining, is located in Bankuiya. You have to go right behind the Power House to find us. It’s a big site because we do both the mining and the crushing right here. There’s always a lot of activity with the excavators digging and the trucks hauling loads of stone back and forth. The Power House is the best way to tell people where we are since it’s such a large building nearby. It gets very loud when the crushing machines are at full speed, and there’s always a bit of a vibration in the ground. We deal with a lot of different sizes of stone and gravel. Most of our day is spent outdoors, checking the equipment or directing the drivers where to dump their loads. It’s a very practical, hands-on kind of business. We don't have a lot of time for sitting in an office; there’s always something that needs fixing or a pile that needs moving. The dust is just part of the job, and we’re all used to going home with it on our clothes. We’ve been working this site for quite a while now. It’s a straightforward operation where we just focus on getting the stone out and crushed for the local builders. We don’t use any fancy talk or have a polished office, we just do the work that needs doing every day. It's a rough environment but we've got a good routine going.
