Anil Bricks

Anil Bricks is out here in Patehara Village. If you are looking for us, we are near the Mauganj Post Office in the Hanumana Tehsil area. It is a quiet place most of the time, except when the work is in full swing. We have been making bricks in this village for quite a bit. The soil around here is good for it. We don't have any fancy signs or big corporate offices. It’s just a yard where the work happens. Usually, you’ll see some of the local men helping out with the stacking. The weather plays a big part in what we do. When it rains, everything slows down and we have to cover the bricks up. During the dry months, the dust flies everywhere. We get people from around Hanumana coming by to see what we have ready. Sometimes they bring their own tractors to pick up a load. We just stay busy with the kiln and the molding. It’s not an easy job, but it’s what keeps the lights on in Patehara. The post office is a good landmark if you get lost on the way. We see the same faces every day and that’s fine by us. We aren't trying to be the biggest, just trying to keep the supply steady for whoever needs it in the village or the nearby towns. That's about it for our business.
