Triputi G School

Triputi G School is found in a place called Mundhar in Jammu. It’s a bit of a trek to get up here compared to the schools down in the flatter areas, but it’s where our students live. The school is a small setup meant to serve the families in this specific village and the surrounding hills. We have a few rooms where we teach different grades and the space is quite basic. The weather can be a bit unpredictable, so some days are very cold and we all have to wrap up warm while we work. Most of the children walk a good distance to get here every morning, coming along the mountain paths. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us who handle everything from teaching to cleaning and the paperwork. The view from the school is actually quite nice, but we are usually too busy with the kids to notice it much. We have some old wooden benches and a few maps on the walls. It’s a very quiet place once the kids leave in the afternoon. There isn't any fancy tech or big city facilities here. We just provide a place for the local kids to come and get an education without having to travel all the way to the bigger towns. It’s a modest, practical little school for our village of Mundhar.
