Vel International Public School

Vel International Public School is located in Siriguda, which is a part of Rayagada with the 765026 pincode. It’s a bit away from the main town center, so it’s a little quieter here, which is nice for the kids. The school building is a solid structure that has seen a lot of students pass through its doors over the years. We have a fair amount of space around the building where the children can run around during their break time. The grass isn't always green, especially in the dry months, but the kids don't seem to mind much. Inside, the classrooms are set up with basic furniture and the walls have some charts and drawings made by the students. We don't have any of those high-tech gadgets you see in expensive city schools. We just use books and chalk and talk to the students. Every morning there is a bit of a rush when the school buses arrive and the parents drop off their children at the gate. The teachers are usually already inside, getting their lesson plans ready or finishing up some grading. It’s a very local feel here. Everyone knows whose child is whose. Sometimes we have issues with the electricity cutting out, but we just open the windows and keep going. It’s just a normal part of life in Siriguda. We focus on getting through the school year and making sure the kids learn what they need.
