A P Social Welfare Residential Schools

This school is located in Rayachoti, and it’s actually housed in the Sericulture Building. It’s one of the A P Social Welfare Residential Schools, specifically a Kgbv School. Being in a building meant for sericulture is a bit different, but we’ve made it work for our needs. Rayachoti is a place with a lot of history and a very specific feel. The school is a bit of a hub for the girls who come from the surrounding areas. Because of the building we are in, the layout is maybe a little unusual for a school, but it serves us well enough. We have set up classrooms where the space allows and the girls have their living quarters sorted out. It’s a busy place with a lot of movement throughout the day. We don’t have a lot of the things you might see in a private city school, but we have the basics. We focus on getting through the syllabus and making sure the girls are looked after. The staff stays on top of the daily grind, from managing the water supply to making sure the lights are working. It’s a very grounded environment. We don’t use a lot of fancy talk; we just deal with the reality of running a residential school in Rayachoti. It’s about the students and the staff getting through each day together and finishing the term strong.
