We are located over at Janakiniwas, which is right near the MIDC Colony in the Udyamnagar part of Ratnagiri. It’s a decent spot in Maharashtra for a business like ours. Being so close to the industrial area makes sense for a cement company because we can see what's going on. We’ve been operating out of this building for some time now, and most people in the neighborhood know where we are. We handle the local distribution and logistics for Ultratech Cement, which is part of the Aditya Birla Group. It keeps us busy, especially with all the new construction happening around Ratnagiri lately. The office itself is pretty basic and functional. We aren't trying to impress anyone with expensive furniture or bright lights. We just need a place to sit, take orders, and coordinate with the transport guys who move the bags. Sometimes the heavy rain here in Ratnagiri can slow things down, but we just manage it the best we can. It’s a small team here, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering the phone to checking the inventory in the back room. There’s always someone coming in to ask about current prices or when the next delivery might arrive. We try to give them straight answers without any of that corporate fluff. It’s just a regular local business life for us. We drink a lot of tea and make sure the cement moves where it needs to go. That’s about the long and short of our daily routine.
