Our institute is tucked away in Lavel, which is part of the Khed taluka in the Ratnagiri district. It’s a bit far from the big urban centers, so it has a different feel to it compared to schools in the city. The air is a bit clearer, and it’s generally quieter, which helps when you’re trying to study engineering. We’ve got a campus that’s seen a lot of students come and go over the years. Most of us here are locals or people who have moved to this part of Ratnagiri for work or study. The buildings are solid and functional, designed to hold labs and big lecture halls. We don't put on any airs; we just get on with the business of teaching and learning. You’ll see students walking between the hostels and the main blocks throughout the day. The staff is a mix of people who have been here forever and some newer faces. We deal with the usual problems like patchy internet sometimes or the heat in the summer months. It’s a place where you have to be self-reliant because we aren't right next to a big mall or anything like that. We focus on the subjects at hand and try to make sure the students understand the practical side of things. It's a steady life here in Lavel, and we just keep the place running as best as we can for everyone who comes here.
