Down in Nagdewadi, near the Post Are area in Guaghar, that’s where you will find us. We have our setup at house number 52, right on survey number 55/25. It’s a cashew place. Ratnagiri is known for cashews, so we are in the right spot for it. There are trees everywhere you look. We spend our days processing the nuts. It’s a lot of manual labor, honestly. You have to crack them, peel them, and grade them. The dust from the shells gets on everything. It’s a dusty job but someone has to do it. Our team is mostly local people from the village. We’ve known each other for years. It’s not a polished factory with robots. It’s more of a traditional shed and house where we get things done. The season is the busiest time, obviously. When the raw nuts come in, everyone is working long hours. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just focus on the quality of the kernels. The road to Nagdewadi is a bit narrow, so the trucks have to be careful. We like it here though. It’s peaceful when the machines aren't running. We just want to do a decent job with the cashews and help the local economy a bit. It’s a straightforward life. We work, we pack the bags, and we send them out.
