Maukhedi Kisan Producer Company Limited

We work out of Raghuvir Singh’s house in Mau Khedi, which is a small village in the Ratlam district. Raghuvir is the son of Torilal, and the family is well-known in this area for their farming. We decided to start this kisan producer company because we wanted to do something for the growers here. Our office isn't in a city building; it is right there in the village, surrounded by fields. We keep things very informal. When a farmer comes by, we sit on the charpai and talk about the weather or the crop prices. There is no corporate structure here. We don't have polished floors or glass windows. It is just a regular house with some space for our records and a few bags of samples. Sometimes the rain makes the road to the village a bit muddy, but that doesn't stop us. We have grown up in this soil, and we understand the challenges the local people face. Our team is just a few neighbors and friends working together. We don't spend money on advertising. Word spreads from one farm to the next. That is how we have built our reputation. We might be out in the fields if it is harvest time, but there is always someone around to talk to. It is a simple life.
