Technical Support Engineer

My workspace is at Plot No: 92/B in Madhura Nagar. It’s out in the Shamshabad area, not too far from the airport really. Being a bit away from the main city center means it’s a little less crowded, though the R.R. District is growing fast these days. I’m usually surrounded by cables, old computer parts, and a few screens that stay on all day. It’s not the neatest place you’ll ever see, but I know where everything is. People call me when their systems aren't working or when they can't figure out why a piece of hardware is acting up. I spend a lot of time on the phone or typing out fixes for different problems. Sometimes I have to go out and see people, but mostly I’m right here in Madhura Nagar. The building is simple, nothing fancy about the architecture. It’s just a solid place to work from. I’ve got a small kettle for tea because the days can get long when you’re troubleshooting a difficult bug. It’s the kind of work where you’re always learning something new because technology changes so fast. I don't use big words to explain things; I just tell people what needs to be plugged in or reset. It’s practical work. No big corporate meetings here, just me and the machines and the occasional neighbor dropping by for a chat. It's a bit dusty with all the fans running, but we get by just fine and keep things running.
