We have this shop at 11-128 near the Bus Stand Chowrasta. It’s right on the National Highway 7 road in Shamshabad. Because we are so close to the bus stand, we get a lot of people who are just passing through or waiting for their next ride. There is always a lot of dust coming in from the highway, so we have to wipe down the shoes and slippers every couple of hours. The shop is simple with benches for people to sit and try things on. We keep the most popular styles near the front so they are easy to see. Usually, the TV is on in the background, mostly just for some noise while we work. It gets really busy when a bus pulls in and a group of people rushes over to buy something they forgot or to replace a broken strap. We have been here for a good while and we know the bus drivers and the local vendors. The nights are quite loud with the trucks rumbling past on NH 7. We stay open late because people are always traveling at all hours. It isn't a big city store, just a local spot where you can get a pair of sandals and move on with your journey. We do our own cleaning and keep the place as tidy as we can. It’s hard work standing on your feet all day, but we are used to it by now. The tea here at the bus stand is pretty good too. We hope the fans keep working in the summer.
