Zaffergadh Farmers Producer Company

Our group is based in the village of Thimmapur, specifically at house number 1-34. It is a very quiet area in Zaffergadh, and we don't have any big signs or a proper office building. We just use a room in the house to keep our records and meet with people when they come by. Most of the folks who come here are our friends and neighbors from the nearby farms. We spend our time talking about what to plant and how the weather is looking for the coming season. We started this company because we thought it would be better to work as a group instead of everyone trying to do everything alone. It’s not always easy, and we have our fair share of arguments about how to run things, but we work through it. We aren't business experts by any means. We are just people who have been farming this land for a long time and want to make a living. The roads out here aren't paved all the way, so it gets very dusty when the wind blows through the village. Most days we just sit around and wait for news from the market or check on our supplies in the shed. If you come to visit us, you’ll probably find someone sitting outside on the porch talking. It’s a very relaxed way of working, but we make sure the important work gets done. We care about this place because it is our home.
