Vijaya Concretes

If you head out to Bowrampet Village in the Qutubullaur Mandal, you will find Vijaya Concretes at Sy No. 347. We are right there in the Ranga Reddy district. The yard is quite large because we need the space for the raw materials like sand and stones. It is a very busy place most mornings. You can hear the conveyor belts moving and the water pumps running. We spend a lot of time watching the weather because rain can really mess up the schedule for pouring concrete. The staff here are local people who know the area well. We don't have a big corporate office with carpets; our floor is just hard ground and concrete slabs. There is always a layer of fine dust on everything, including the ledgers and the phones. We just wipe it off and keep working. Sometimes the trucks get delayed in the village traffic, which is a bit of a pain, but we try to plan around it. It is a basic business. We take the orders, mix the stuff, and send it out to the construction sites nearby. There are no fancy promises here, just people doing their jobs. We like being in Bowrampet because it feels a bit more open than the crowded parts of Hyderabad. It’s a lot of physical labor and keeping an eye on the machinery to make sure nothing breaks down in the middle of a batch.
