Located at 2-3-647 in Alkapuri Colony, Sai Nagar, we spend our days looking at seeds and talking about dirt. Teegala Seeds & Innovative Research isn't some big glass building with a lobby. It’s just our place in Saroor Nagar where we try to figure out what is actually going to grow best in our local conditions. Seeds are complicated little things, even if they look simple to everyone else. We spend a lot of time testing different batches and seeing what works in the soil around here. It gets quite messy in the office sometimes with all the samples and bags piled up. We aren't exactly scientists in white coats, just folks who have been around plants long enough to know what a good grain should look like. People around Saroor Nagar know where to find us if they need to talk about their upcoming planting season or if they have a problem with their crops. We started this because we saw too many farmers struggling with bad batches and wanted to do something useful. Innovation is a big word, but for us, it just means trying something different when the old ways stop working. Sometimes a project takes a long time and we don't get the results we wanted, but that is part of the job. We keep a lot of messy records and try to stay on top of the different types of seeds. It’s quiet work mostly, interrupted by the usual neighborhood sounds and traffic.
