We are over here in Chandanagar, tucked away in Flat 501 of the Karthikavenue building. It’s a pretty standard spot in Matru Sri Nagar. Usually, the day starts with trying to find a parking spot that isn't under the sun too long. We’ve been doing software for a while now. Most of our time is spent looking at screens and trying to figure out why a bit of code isn't doing what it was told. It’s not a big fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. It’s just a regular flat where a bunch of us sit with our laptops. We have some desks, some old chairs, and a kettle that takes forever to boil. People sometimes struggle to find the building because the street numbers in this part of town are a bit of a mess. If you get to P No-812 and 813, you’re basically there. We don't really do the whole corporate suit thing. Most days it’s just jeans and some coffee. We work on different software projects as they come in. Some are easy, some make us want to pull our hair out, but that is just how it goes in this line of work. We aren't trying to change the whole world or anything, just trying to build things that actually work for the people who need them. It’s quiet enough here to get things done, except when the neighbors are doing construction.
