Shabad Rythu Fed is located at H.No.11-88 in Sheriguda. This is in the Shahabad area of Rangareddy district. If you know the local roads, you know it's a place where farming is the main thing everyone talks about. Our office is a simple one. We have a small sign outside so people know where to go. Being a farmer producer company, we spend a lot of time talking to the local rythus about their needs. There is always a lot of paperwork because of the federation side of things. It’s not always fun, but it’s necessary to keep the company going. We have a few desks and some chairs that have seen better days. During the rainy season, the roof leaks a little in the corner, so we have to move the files around to keep them dry. It’s just one of those things you deal with when you're a local business. We don't have a fancy coffee machine, just a small stove to make tea for whoever stops by. People here talk mostly in Telugu, and we keep our records as clear as we can. It’s a community thing, really. Everyone knows everyone else, so you can’t afford to be anything but honest. We just do our work and try to help where we can without making a big fuss about it. The people in Sheriguda are hardworking and we try to match that energy. It’s not always easy.
