You can find us at House No 4-62 in Madhurapoor, which is part of the Farooqnagar area. Roshika Farmer Producer Company Limited is basically a collective of local farmers who decided to pool our resources together. We are operating out of AP Reddy’s place for now. It’s a familiar spot for most of us in the village. We spend time talking about stuff like crop prices, what fertilizers are working, and how to get our produce to the market without losing too much money to the middlemen. It gets pretty busy during the harvest season. The office is really just a room where we keep our records and meet up to make decisions. We don't have any fancy receptionists or coffee machines. We just sit around and figure things out. Life in Farooqnagar is mostly about the land, and our company is an extension of that. Sometimes we stay late discussing the rains or the new government rules. It is a lot of work running a producer company, but it beats trying to navigate the markets by yourself. If you are passing through Madhurapoor, you can't miss the house. We’ve been here a long time and plan on staying. It’s just a group of us trying to keep the farming life sustainable for our families. It isn't always perfect, but we are making it through each season together.
