R D Printers & Publications is located over at P. No 186 in Parvathi Nagar. We are right in the Feriziguda area of Uppal, which is a busy part of Ranga Reddy Dist. The shop always smells like ink and paper, which I guess is normal for a printing place. We have been here for some time now. The machines are loud when they are running full speed, so you can usually hear us before you see us. Parvathi Nagar is a good spot for us because it’s easy for folks to find. We do a lot of publishing work, so there are always stacks of books or pamphlets sitting around waiting to be boxed up. It gets a bit cramped when a big order comes in, but we make it work. Sometimes we stay late to finish up a run if the deadline is tight. The staff here is small, just a few of us who know how to handle the presses. We don't really do anything fancy, just the printing and the binding. The floor is concrete and has some ink stains that won't ever come out. That’s just part of the job. Uppal can be a bit of a drive for some, but for us, it’s just where we work every day. We open up early and get the machines warmed up before the sun gets too high.
