Nallavelli Farmers Producer Company Limited

We've been around Nallavelly for a while now, mostly working out of the house at H No 1-8 here in Yacharam. It's just a bunch of us locals who decided to put this producer company together because doing things alone in farming is getting harder every year. We spend most of our time dealing with the crops and trying to figure out how to get things moving from the fields to where they need to go. There isn’t much fancy equipment in the office, just the basic stuff we need to keep the records straight. People come by the village to talk about the harvest or what seeds are working this season. It's not a big corporate setup or anything like that. We just focus on the day-to-day work that comes with being a farmer in this part of the world. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, but that’s just how it is here. Most of us grew up in this area, so we know the land pretty well. If you’re looking for us, we’re usually around the village or at the main house address mentioned. It’s a quiet place, but we keep busy enough with the seasonal cycles. We don’t have any big speeches to give about what we do. It’s just work. We handle the produce, talk to the other growers, and try to make sure everything stays on track for the next cycle. It’s a slow process but we like being our own bosses and helping the community out.
