Kamsanipally Farmers Producer Company is based on Temple Road in Kamsanipally, specifically at H No 2-113 in the 2nd Ward. Being near the temple means there is always a bit of life and noise around, which we like. We are a small group of farmers who have lived in this ward for generations. Our daily lives are pretty much tied to the cycles of the sun and the rain. We set up this company so we could buy things like seeds and tools in bulk to save some money for everyone involved. The office at 2-113 is just a simple place where we keep our receipts and have our discussions. There is usually someone hanging around there if you need to talk about a delivery or a problem in the fields. We don't have any polished speeches or mission statements; we just want to make sure our families are fed and the crops don't fail. It is a lot of responsibility, especially when the weather doesn't cooperate, but having the group makes it a bit easier to handle the stress. We spend a lot of time checking on each other's plots and sharing whatever equipment we have. It is just a local community thing where we look out for one another. Kamsanipally is home to us, and we are just trying to do our best by the land we have here.
