Girijana Farmers Producer Companylimited

Down here in Arutla Village at Patelcheruvu Thanda, we run the Girijana Farmers Producer Companylimited. Our main spot is H.No.10-103. We’re mostly folks from the local area who work the land day in and day out. We put this company together so we could have a better way to sell what we grow. It’s not always easy being out here, but we manage. We spend our days checking on the fields and talking to the other members. It's a group effort, really. We don’t have a lot of fancy equipment or a big office. Most of our meetings happen right outside or in a small room. We handle everything from getting seeds to figuring out the transport. There’s always some issue with the weather or the market, but we try to stick together. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big talk. We just want to make sure our families are taken care of and the crops are healthy. Most of us have been farming since we were kids. It’s the only life we know. Being part of the Girijana group helps us stay afloat when things get tough. We just take it one season at a time and try to learn from the mistakes we made the year before. It’s honest, hard work and we’re proud of that and the community we built.
