Gagana Farm Fresh Products

We are out at Sy. No. 113 in Ponnala Village. It’s in the Shamirpet Mandal part of Rangareddy. We deal with farm products, mostly stuff that comes straight from the land. Being out here means we are close to where things actually grow. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city, but that’s where the farms are. Our place is basically a shed and a small office area for keeping track of the supplies. It’s dusty and looks like a working farm because that is what it is. We spend our mornings checking on the stock and getting things ready for transport. The air is better out here in Ponnala than in the middle of town. We’ve got some local guys who help with the loading and unloading. It’s hard work and the hours can be long depending on the season. We don't have a shiny store. Everything is practical and meant for moving products quickly so they stay fresh. People come by to buy in bulk or to see what we have available that day. It’s been a few years since we started this at this location. We just focus on the basics of getting food items from the field to the people.
