Community-Prithvi Farms Private Limited

We are over here at Community-Prithvi Farms Private Limited, just a small group of us really. Our main spot is in Chandanagar, right in that Dwarakamai Residency building on the first floor. If you know Aparna Hill Park Road, you probably passed by us a hundred times without noticing. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy outside. It’s just an office where we keep our papers and talk to people about the farms. Some days it’s quiet, and other days the phone won't stop ringing about some tractor issue or the seeds not arriving on time. We’ve been here for a bit now and the neighbors are nice enough. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs to 102 but you get used to it. We try to keep things simple. Most of the time we are thinking about the soil and what the weather is going to do next week. It’s not like those big companies in the glass buildings. We just deal with what’s in front of us. Sometimes the internet goes out when it rains hard, and we just sit and wait it out. That’s just how it is here. We aren’t trying to change the world, just trying to make sure the farm stuff gets handled right and the people we work with are okay. It’s practical work, nothing too fancy, just everyday farming business.
