Our shop is at Plot No. 43/44 in the Ancillary Industrial Area over in Tupudana, Hatia. It’s a gritty part of town where everyone is busy making things or fixing them. We handle a variety of engineering tasks. The air always has that smell of oil and burnt metal, which you get used to after a week. We’ve been in this same spot for quite a few years now. It’s a basic workshop with a small corner for the paperwork. We don't have a marketing team or a fancy logo. Mostly, people just drop by when something breaks or they need a part made. Sometimes we have to wait on materials, which slows everything down, but that’s common in this industry. The industrial area can get pretty chaotic with trucks coming and going all the time. We aren't trying to be a corporate giant. It’s just a group of us who know how to work the machines. If the power stays on, we stay busy. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. It’s just metalwork and repairs. Some of the tools have been with us since we opened. They’re old but they still work fine if you know how to handle them. We just try to keep up with the orders and stay on top of the maintenance. It’s a decent living and it keeps us out of trouble.
