Jeet Engineering Works

Jeet Engineering Works is over in the Lohani Sara area. It’s right by the Ganda Nala which is how most people find their way to us. It’s a simple workshop. We don’t have a big sign or anything flashy out front. Mostly just the sound of the work going on inside lets people know where we are. The space is a bit cramped because we have a lot of equipment packed into it. There is always a smell of grease and metal which is what you would expect at an engineering spot like this. We’ve been doing this for years now. It’s just a few of us here. We start early when the air is still a bit cool and we keep going until the light starts to fade. Lohani Sara is a busy neighborhood with lots of small shops and people walking by. We know the tea seller down the road and the guys at the other stalls nearby. It’s a real community feel here even if it’s a bit messy sometimes. We don't worry about being perfect or having a clean office. We just care about getting the parts right and making sure whatever we are working on is solid. People bring us things that are broken and we do what we can to get them working again. It’s just what we do every day. The floor is mostly covered in metal scraps and we have to sweep it out every evening before we lock up. It is hard work but we are used to it by now.
