Sujan Civil Services Centre

Sujan Civil Services Centre is located on Circular Road in Ranchi. It’s a well-known street, so finding us isn't too hard for most people. We are tucked into a building along the main stretch where all the shops and other offices are. It gets pretty busy during the rush hours, but once you step inside our door, it's mostly quiet. We set this place up to help local candidates who are trying to get into government jobs. It’s a lot of hard work, both for them and for us. We spend our days surrounded by stacks of newspapers and thick textbooks. The office isn't very large, so we have to stay organized. Sometimes the bookshelves get a bit overcrowded and things spill over onto the floor. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who have been doing this for years. We like the rhythm of the day—opening up, making some tea, and getting started with the students. There are no fancy logos or expensive carpets here. It’s just a practical space where people come to study and improve their chances for the exams. Most of our furniture we bought second-hand, but it’s sturdy enough. If you’re walking down Circular Road, you’ll see our door. We’re usually there until the evening, unless it’s a public holiday or the weather is really bad. It’s a decent place to put in some hours of study.
