7 Days Coaching

We started 7 Days Coaching quite a while ago on Station Road in Muri. It’s right there near the Ranchi side of things, and the location is actually pretty convenient for students who come in by train. I usually get here around seven in the morning to open up the shutters and sweep out the dust from the previous evening. Muri is the kind of place where everyone knows your name, so we get a lot of local kids walking over from the nearby houses. We don't have a big fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. It is mostly just rooms with wooden benches and some whiteboards that have seen better days. Teaching is a long day’s work, honestly. We go through a lot of markers and chalk. Sometimes the noise from the station gets a bit much when the big freight trains pass through, but you get used to it after a week or two. My brother helps me manage the schedules, though we usually just write everything down in a big register rather than using a computer. It feels more real that way. We aren't trying to be some big corporate chain from the city. We just want to make sure the kids here get their lessons done properly and don't fall behind. Most evenings, I’m the last one to leave, turning off the fans and making sure the gate is locked up tight for the night.
