Subodh General Store

Subodh General Store is our family shop located right in Upper Bazar, Ranchi. We’ve been here for years, serving the local community. It’s a small place, but we try to stock a bit of everything. From cooking essentials like salt and grains to things for the kids like candies and small toys. The area is always buzzing with people, and we are right in the middle of it. It’s not a fancy store with air conditioning. Just a regular shop where you can get what you need quickly. I usually open the shutters by eight in the morning. Some days are slow, but usually, it’s quite busy. We have a lot of boxes stacked up because the space is limited. I know most of the people who walk through the door. We talk about the weather or the local news while I pack their bags. It’s a simple way to make a living. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. We just focus on keeping the goods in stock. If you’re looking for something specific, you can just ask. If I don’t have it, I can usually tell you who in the market does. That’s just how we do things here in Ranchi. It's nothing special but it works for us.
