Sanjeevani Dental Clinic

You can find us in the Bimlanand Tower on Purulia Road. It’s a pretty standard office building, and we are up on one of the floors with a view of the street below. Purulia Road is always dusty and full of traffic, so it’s a bit of a relief to come inside the tower and get into the shade. Our clinic is simple. We have the main room with the dental chair and all the equipment tucked into the corners. There is a small sink where we wash up between patients, and the mirror above it has a little crack in the corner that’s been there forever. We don't do much in the way of decorating, just a few posters about brushing and a calendar from the local pharmacy. The waiting area has a few plastic chairs that we move around depending on how many people show up at once. It’s mostly just one or two of us working at a time, so it stays fairly quiet unless the drill is going. We see a lot of people who work in the other offices in the tower or folks who live nearby. Most days are spent checking for cavities or cleaning teeth, and we try to keep the mood light because no one really likes being at the dentist. By the time we lock up in the evening, the sun is usually setting over the rooftops of the buildings along Purulia Road, and we head home like everyone else.
