Radium Centre

We are located right on the Ranchi Patna Road in Jhumri Telaiya. If you are driving through Asnabad in the Koderma district, you will probably pass us. It’s a busy stretch of road with a lot of trucks and cars going by all day and night. We have been operating the Radium Centre from this spot for quite some time. The dust from the road comes in, so we are always cleaning the counters. It’s just the way it is being on a main highway. Most of the people who stop by are drivers or locals from around the district. We handle a lot of the stickers and safety markings that people need for their vehicles. The shop isn't very large, but we have enough room for the machines and the rolls of radium. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit and wait for it to come back so we can finish the cutting. It’s a simple life here in Jhumri Telaiya. We know most of our neighbors. The traffic never really stops, which keeps things interesting. We don’t have a website or anything like that. People just know where we are because of the sign on the road. We open up early and stay until the sun goes down. Usually, there is a bit of a breeze coming off the road in the evening. It’s just a regular workplace doing regular stuff for the people passing through Koderma.
