Orchid Medical Centre

Orchid Medical Centre is situated on H B Road New, right near where the old Plaza Cinema is. Most people in the area know the cinema, so it makes it easy to explain where we are. The building is a bit older, and you can see the wear and tear on the walls, but it is a solid place. We see a lot of people throughout the day coming in for various reasons. The waiting room has that specific smell of floor cleaner and old paper that you find in most local clinics. There is usually a TV running in the background, though nobody really watches it much. The staff here has been around for a long time, so we all know how the routine goes. We aren’t trying to be a five-star hotel; we just provide a place for people to get checked out. Sometimes the air conditioning is a bit loud, or the chairs squeak when you sit down, but it is homey in its own way. H B Road is a main artery, so there is always the sound of horns and engines outside. We keep the files in big cabinets and sometimes it takes a minute to find what we are looking for. It is just a normal, busy medical centre serving the local crowd. We stay open pretty late most days to make sure we get through everyone who comes to the door.
