Mentor Home Tuition

We run Mentor Home Tuition out of our office on Station Road in the Chutia area of Ranchi. It’s very close to the Chutia Thana, which makes it easy for people to find us when they’re coming from the station. The office isn't very large because we don't actually hold many classes here. Mostly, this is where we coordinate everything. We spend a lot of time on the phone or meeting with parents who walk in looking for a tutor to come to their house. The room is usually filled with stacks of registers and lists of names. It’s a bit disorganized at times, with papers piled up on the desks, but we know where everything is. Station Road is always buzzing with people catching trains or heading to the markets, so there's a constant sound of horns and shouting outside the window. We’ve got a couple of old chairs for visitors and a fan that clicks as it rotates. We aren't a big corporate firm with a website team. It’s just us trying to match students with the right teachers. Sometimes we stay late into the evening making calls to make sure everyone is scheduled correctly for the next day. It’s a simple business, really. We just focus on getting the right person to the right house. It's been our daily routine for years now, right here near the police station and the railway tracks.
