Lakshmi Nursing Home

Lakshmi Nursing Home has been sitting here on the Main Road in Hinoo for a long time. It’s a familiar sight for anyone who drives through this part of town regularly. The building has seen better days, maybe, but it’s sturdy and it serves the purpose. We don't have those fancy glass walls or high-tech lobbies you see in the big city hospitals. It’s just a nursing home. We have some beds for people who need to stay over and a small area for checkups. The Main Road is always buzzing with cars and people, so it never gets truly quiet here, even at night. Most of our staff live nearby, so they know the people coming in. We don't really do any promotion. People come to us because we are right here in Hinoo and they know the name. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to mess with the generator, or the rain makes the entrance a bit messy, but that’s just how it is. It’s an honest, local place. We aren't trying to be the biggest or the most modern facility around. We just provide a space for care when people in the neighborhood need it. It’s a simple operation, run by people who have been doing this for years. We keep the files in cabinets and the coffee on the heater. It’s just a plain and simple nursing home for the local folks.
