Lakshaya

Lakshaya is also here in Jascon Plaza on Circular Road. Since we are in Ranchi, we deal with the usual crowd and the noise of the main road every single day. The building itself is busy with all kinds of different businesses. Our office is quite simple. We have some wooden chairs that have been around for years and a few long tables where people can sit and write. The lighting is okay, but we usually keep the big lights off unless it is a cloudy day. We have a small corner where we keep a kettle for making tea during the breaks. It is a bit of a mess sometimes with books and papers scattered around. We don't really have a cleaning crew, so we just sweep the place ourselves every morning before things get started. The door has a bit of a creak when you open it. People come in and out all afternoon. Most of them are locals who live within walking distance or take the bus. We know most of the people who work in the other offices in this plaza, so we say hello in the hallway. It is a friendly enough place, even if it is a bit cramped. The walls are painted a dull cream color that has faded over time. We don't really mind. It is a practical spot for us to do our work and help the people who come by. It feels like home after all these years.
