Kolamda Lac And Agro Processing Industries Private Limited

We are located at number 267 in Kolomda, which is in the Murhu block of Khunti. Our focus is on lac and other agro processing. It is a rural area, and we are right there where the trees and the farms are. Processing lac is a traditional thing around here, but we are trying to do it in a more organized way. The building in Kolomda is where we bring the raw materials to be processed. It is often dusty and loud when the machines are running, but that is the nature of the work. We are a small team, mostly people from Murhu and the nearby parts of Khunti. We don't have a big corporate structure; we just have a few people who know how to handle the lac and the other crops we deal with. It is a practical business that fits into the rhythm of the local seasons. When it is time to harvest the lac, we are all very busy. The rest of the year we spend maintaining the equipment and planning for the next cycle. We are about 40 kilometers or so from Ranchi, but it feels like a different world here in the middle of the countryside. We keep our records in a simple office at the site. It is just honest work done by people who have lived in Khunti their whole lives.
