If you’re driving down Palkot Road, you’ll see us right near the Sahu Petrol Pump. It’s a good spot because people often stop for fuel and then decide they want something sweet for the road. We’ve been making and selling traditional sweets and other items for a long time. The smell of boiling milk and sugar usually fills the air around the shop from early in the morning. We have our regulars who come in every single day for their favorites after work. The shop isn't fancy; it has the usual glass counters and some basic seating if someone wants to eat right there. We spend a lot of time in the back where the actual cooking happens in big pans. It gets quite hot, especially in the summer months, but that’s just part of the job we do. We try to keep things fresh, so we’re always making new batches of whatever is popular that week. It’s a family-run feel, and we don’t put on any acts or fancy displays. We just serve what we make. Being near the petrol pump means we see a lot of travelers passing through as well as the locals from around Palkot Road. It's a simple business based on food people like and keep coming back for. Sometimes we run out of certain things by the late afternoon, but we just start again the next morning. It's been our way of life for years.
