J Thakkar Foods

We are located up on the first floor right here on Ranchi Railway Station Road in Chutia. It stays pretty busy around here because of the station being so close and the police station just down the way. J Thakkar Foods started small and we just keep doing what we do every day. The kitchen gets hot in the afternoons but that is just how it is when you are cooking for a lot of people. Some folks come in after a long train ride and they look tired, so we try to get things out fast. It isn't a fancy place with lots of decorations. We have the basic tables and chairs and we focus on the food we make. Sometimes the traffic outside gets really loud, especially during the rush hour, but inside we are just focused on the orders. Being in Chutia feels like being in the heart of things. We see the same faces often, mostly people working nearby or living in the neighborhood. We don't spend much time on the computer or doing fancy ads. We are mostly just busy with the pots and pans. If you are walking by the station road, you will see our sign. It is a simple setup. We spend our mornings getting the ingredients ready and the evenings cleaning up. It’s a lot of work running a food business in a place like Ranchi but we are used to the rhythm now and we just keep going.
