Distint Physics

Distint Physics is on the 2nd floor of Jascon Plaza. This is right on Circular Road in Ranchi, which is one of the busiest spots you can find. The sound of horns and engines is just part of the background here. Our place is pretty straightforward. We have a couple of rooms where we have set up long benches and some desks for the students. The walls are mostly bare, except for a few diagrams drawn in permanent marker that wouldn't come off. We have a big blackboard because some of us still prefer using chalk over those plastic pens. There is always a bit of white dust on the floor near the front of the room. We don't have any fancy sofas or a waiting lounge. If someone is early, they just stand in the corridor or sit on one of the spare stools. The windows look out over the road, and sometimes you get distracted watching the people down below. It gets quite bright in the mornings when the sun hits the glass. We have a small cupboard where we keep all the old test papers and some spare chalk boxes. It is a functional space, nothing more than that. We don't try to make it look like a corporate office because that is not what we are. It is just a place for physics and nothing else. We stay here until the streetlights come on and then head home.
