Catalyst I A S is over on Kutchery Road in Ranchi. We have our space on the second floor of the R J Arcade building. It is quite close to the Bihar Club, which makes it easy for people to find us. We have been here for a good number of years now, and the place has a bit of history to it. It’s not a modern, glass-walled office like you see in some cities. It is a working space for people who are serious about their studies. We have a few classrooms that stay pretty busy throughout the day. Kutchery Road is always full of life, and you can hear the sounds of Ranchi right outside our windows. Inside, though, we try to keep things focused on the books. We don't have a big staff or a corporate structure. We are just a small team of people who know these exams well. We spend a lot of time drinking tea and figuring out the best way to explain things to our students. The building is an older one, so it has its quirks, like the occasional creaky door or a light that flickers a bit. We don't mind that stuff much. It’s more important that the teaching is good. Most of our students come from word of mouth. We don’t do any fancy promotions. We just open our doors every morning and get to work helping whoever walks in.
